Monkey see...
Every time I have a moment like this, my ovaries fold in on themselves in fear. There are so many things I am just plain bad at because of the examples set for me by the adults in my life. I thought/think I am growing into a person separate from their influence and then find myself mimicking them in unexpected ways.
I don’t want to cripple another person this way.
