(I am very aware how white all of these people are, but I couldn’t find any good feminist quotes from famous people of colour (well I have one from Michelle Obama but that didnt explicitly reference feminism), so if you can think of any it would be much appreciated!)
Umm, for starters, try Nicki Minaj. Also because not all WOC identify with feminism because of how white (and therefore racist) a movement it is, try bell hooks… Maybe you should expand beyond celebrities.

How hard is it to type into the Google search by “Quotes by Black Feminists” or “quotes by feminists of color”. Or better yet…fucking “Quotes by Oprah”.
You couldn’t “find” any WOC to quote because you didn’t bother to look. That’s white privilege at work, folks. POC are just an “afterthought” to these folks.
I love the quotes but am deeply disappointed by the commentary. This is why there is such a deep gulf between Black (and other minority) feminists and White feminists. Our White, straight counterparts forget us ALL the time. This problem goes right back to the era of Sojourner Truth and her “Ain’t I a woman” speech.
Since it’s inception this movement has only been about achieving the same power as the White man instead of equality for all.
