My biggest inspirations come from traditional African jewelry. This picture of the Ethiopian woman inspired a few of my bracelet designs.

I know some people would think it’s silly but I only want to create…I like creating beautiful things- writings, jewelry, photographs, home decor items and I like that other people enjoy what I do too. If I could make a living from this I would never do anything else but improve my technique and churn out beauty.
I think everyone should be able to live a life where they get to dwell on what is beautiful and good to them. Be it art or poetry or even complex equations. If it makes your heart sing, you deserve it.If it makes others happy, if it improves your community then you should get paid for it.
I’m probably alone in this…but that’s ok.
